Vaguely pointless...

My Best of...2003

Movies

City of god
Just to prove you don't have to be American, or have the surname Tarantino, to make a great movie

Finding Nemo
Its a cartoon. Its fish. Its still better than having humans onscreen

Seabiscuit
Horses. Thats good enough for me

Kill Bill Vol 1
Blood, Japanese anime, more blood. yum

Music

Muse - Absolution
Paranoia, aliens, death. Fan-bloody-tastic

Belle & Sebastian - Dear Catastrophe Waitress
Twee Scottish pop. Whodda thought, huh? More please

White Stripes - Elephant
They keep getting better. Depressing, really

Athlete - Vehicles and Animals
Good ole British pop. And thats no bad thing

Audiobullys - Egowar
Punk, dance, rap, electronica. And it works. Worryingly

and probably about 20 others that i've forgotton about (Coldplay, Blur, Radiohead, Chemical Brothers, REM, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Flaming Lips, Strokes, Outkast, Eminem - they're all there somewhere)

TV
Um..I'll think of something. Honest..How about The Office? Will that do?

Books

Bringing down the House - Ben Mezrich
Kids run riot in Vegas. Class.

Amarillo Slim in a World Full of Fat People - Thomas Austin Preston, Greg Dinkin
Its the way the master of gambling tells it. Great fun

Samurai William: The Adventurer Who Unlocked Japan - Giles Milton
In my opinion, its his best book yet. But then, what do I know?

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time - Mark Haddon
A book about a boy with Asperger's Syndrome. You're not gonna read too many books like it
