And yes - its 3rd time stupid for the Sky Plus muppets - they've phoned AGAIN about installation. They have truly deserved their elevation from muppet to total morons.
Lets not comment much about Pop Idol. Ghastly, nasal, vile singer. See her down Mccy D's serving the fries same time next year. Nuff said.

The Sky Plus muppets do it again - as only they can...phoning me up to tell me they're ready to install - despite the fact that they installed the week before. It was SO tempting to let them turn up and install a second one for free...

You wouldn't guess it was Pop Idol final week this week..Who were the contenders again? Its sad really, Pop Idol I was so far superior this one is embarrassing...Anyway, roll on World Idol and if you're really desperate to enjoy the Pop Idol final, back Mark. He shall win.

Do I dare get back into Stargate SG-1 again? Its really not healthy - but then again, watching Jag isn't so hot either - candidate for the worst dialogue and acting ever? Gotta love it, gotta watch it.
Has there been a decent TV show made in years? Sorry West Wing just doesn't do it for me. And 24 lost its appeal after Series One - but I can be persuaded to sit through The Office - thats when I'm not hiding behind the couch cringing.

Sky Plus is awesome. But it could be SO much better if the money-sucking muppets at Sky gave us what they could. A bigger hard-drive perhaps? Someway of connecting to a PC perhaps? Is it so much to ask since Tivo offers all this and profiling? Its not like the technology doesn't already exist...
Anyway - geek rant over. Its still awesome and it still puts VCRs to shame (although they were somewhat shamed already)

Apparantly they've captured Saddam. Is this just a ploy to obscure the fact that Pop Idol is truly awful this year? Then again, looking the way he does, he could probably enter - what with it being 'talent' over 'image' this time (or more accurately, no talent over no image)
